This is what was slid under my door after I had to lock myself in my room because 7 had an “episode” at bedtime where he hit me, pushed me and kicked me and told me he didn’t love me. He has been on the Risperdal since last Wednesday. I have seen an improvement, believe it or not. He is more balanced and less negative most of the time. The difference is that he is not having crying, flailing out of control tantrums. He is going from good mood to angry and dark in seconds. He is more aggressive and is not crying, but even when he’s aggressive, he’s not hitting hard, but softly - he is not trying to hurt me, but trying to show he’s angry. He comes out of these rages rather quickly too. I spoke to his psychiatrist over the weekend and we increased the dosage to 0.25 ml, what he had originally prescribed. I have also noticed a crash around 24 hours after the last dosage. He said this shouldn’t be happening. Onward and up - each day is a battle.
